Contributions to the Bayside Historical Preservation Society—of time, treasure, or talent—help to keep the history of Bayside alive. Here are ways you can contribute to our work:
Become a member: It doesn’t take much to become a member of BHPS, just $10 a year for the first member of the household and $5 for each additional individual. (And children under 18 are free!) Your membership in BHPS helps support the ongoing operation of Shady Grove, our cottage museum; subsidizes BHPS sponsored community events during the summer; and enables us to acquire new historical materials. That’s a lot of bang for the buck!
Make a financial gift: In addition to their membership in the organization, many Baysiders generously support the work of BHPS through additional gifts. These gifts play a major role in the financial health of the organization and are deeply appreciated.
Donate items: The items in our collection at Shady Grove tell the story of Bayside through the everyday lives and experiences of those who have lived in and loved this special community. Nearly all of these items in our collection have been donated by Bayside families and friends. We welcome gifts of Bayside-related historical artifacts.
