The William H. “Bill” Paige Northport Fire Station #2
Presented by the Board of Overseers and the Bayside Community in August 2014, the dedication reads:
Northport Fire Station # 2 named in memory of William H. “Bill” Paige. Joined NVFD 1947, Chief 1985-1996. Was instrumental in the building of Fire Station 2. Good guy, good friend. Bill wore many hats during his 60 plus years of service to Bayside and the Northport Village Corp. Bill was at various times, Village Police Chief, Village Constable, Village Agent, Wharfmaster, and Trash Collector. He was always “Mr. Bayside”.
The Samway Family Bench
Donated by the second generation of the family (Michael, Tim, Terry and Honora), the bench honors their parents Frances (1908-2001) and James (1906-1983) from Bangor.
Samway family members of four generations travel to Bayside to enjoy life in Maine.
